No politics, it is just against gangsters

More than 1 mln of people suffers from police violence in Ukraine, according to International Amnesty's report. The traditions of sadism, origination from NKVD, soviet secret police, are now serving to corruption and political usurpation. All previous years Ukrainian society slept, pretending not to notice this pain, caused by ugly «law enforcement» system.

I also experienced 13 hours of gestapo-style tortures from people who sincerely supported regime and were very compassionate towards police, after being kidnapped from one of the hospitals near Maidan on 21st of January. That was the first day i didn't visit Maidan, since the very start of the protests in November (and i'll definitely return as soon as my leg will be able to walk).

When Euromaidan started, it inevitably conflicted with those methods of police that usually were applied to opponents of authorities. We, protesters, tasted in a very concentrated form what we were fed up during decades. And that caused enlightenment, as well as rebellion.

We realized that «Berkut» (special police force) don't have any human features at all, that in one country it is impossible to exist – either Berkut or we should remain alive. This enlightenment and this rebellion is the main result of Euromaidan.

Nevertheless not all of us understand the essence of our rebellion. Politicians from both sides are trying to represent it as a political conflict, trying to solve it with usual political methods – through secret deals and shameful compromises, hypnotizing rebels with «voting» and «negotiations». This causes the decline in activity of rebels, of Maidan. But next acts of police sadism and state terrorism immediately return use to reality. We recall that negotiation with terrorists is impossible.

We are not confronting Party of Regions! We are confronting Donetsk gang named «Luks», which's name is connected with names of Rinat Akhmentov and Viktor Yanukovich, and other high officials. The methods of this gang include tortures, kidnapping, assassination, taking hostages, and now it is a part of official state policy. We raised against that methods and that policy – this is the main result of Euromaidan now.
